Finally, i've got myself a little shop!
After months of research and preparations, i've picked up my courage to sell my toys online in Etsy.
I'm happy that i've finally own a little shop, even its not a retail stall at Haji Lane. But, i've made a little step towards my dream.
I can't bear to sell them away actually, however if you really like it and will take good care of my hand-made toys, i'll be more than happy! (*mixed feelings~)

A dream not too far
I happen to see maedchenmitherz's little creations in her etsy shop, and more in wordpress, flickr and deviant art. Her artwork caught my attention that i decided to read and view longer.
'Malte & Nora' is her imagination, and she begins to tell her story by her lovely illustrations.
I have a story to tell too. And i always wanted it to be a children book too! maedchenmitherz has worked so much more who makes me want to post something about her. And furthermore, to inspire me to enjoy making art & crafts. Good luck maedchenmitherz! Your dream will come true!

History of a sock monkey
A sock monkey is a stuffed toy made from socks and fashioned in the likeness of a monkey. Sock monkeys hold a place in the culture of the United States and the culture of Canada as a symbol of folk art.
The genesis of the sock monkey came about when the craze of stuffed animals swept across Europe and into America, where it met the burgeoning arts and crafts movement in the United States. Mothers there took to sewing sock monkeys as toys for their children, and sock monkeys soon became a fixture of American nurseries. Read more

The floor is too Salty.
Motoi Yamamoto is a Japanese artist who does installations made of salt. These huge, and incredibly meticulous labrynths are site specific, and the end result is nothing short of amazing. Check out the installation!

A few good friends
These are the first few 奇形のsocks™ i've made. I'm happy with it. You'll never know how much you can achieve before you start making it happen.
A curiosity can become a hobby.
A hobby can become a devotion.
A devotion can become a passion.
That's why 奇形のsocks™ is born.
